DES Collaborators

Odilia Anyachi Okonga
Odilia is the founder of the International African School and collaborated with DES during the launch of our Discovering Africa Initiative in Amsterdam. Odilia has since continued to collaborate with us on some of the training workshops that we offer. The Discovering Africa Initiative which DES launched in 2020, encouraged her to develop the Discovering Africa programme at her African International School which is based in the Hague (NL) and online.

Anabel Hull
Anabel is a Cultural Coordinator and International Theatre Teacher known for her extensive and culturally rich teaching experience. She has taught in schools across the UK, Asia and Europe. With experience as a mentor for teachers and examiner for the IB, this power house has become a renowned Cultural Coordinator, producing cultural community projects that are designed to inspire. Anabel has worked with DES founder Tara Brown, for many years as a colleague and mentor and DES are very excited to enter a new chapter with Anabel on creating diverse and culturally rich opportunities for our clients.

Roxy Verwey
Roxy is a Performing Artist, Creator, Teacher of Dance & Theatre, Black Community Builder and activist. She worked with DES on the Gender diversity, sexuality and consent workshops delivered across multiple school campuses. She is a collaborator that we look forward to working with again on GDSC workshops as well as on future projects.
